to be the Millennium City. As part of a UK wide competition, towns in Scotland
have been invited to submit applications to become a City for the Millennium.
Scottish applications will be considered by the Secretary of State for Scotland
and the First Minister and submitted to the Government with his recommendation,
for consideration alongside those submitted from the rest of the UK. Please
add your name to the growing number of people who have already signed up in
support of <a href="../welcome/form.htm"><b>Paisley City</b></a>.</font></p>
